We took the same profile distribution from our popular Osprey Range and combined it in a new shape where the big drop in the tips enables to lean on them and get locked when riding the bumps.

Hello I really like the albatros for upwind/ downwind ( wingfoil). The take off is easy, almost like the 1250 osprey. Despite its large wingspan, it turns easily on flat water and in the swell. I rode the albatros last week around 20/25 knots and
a 1 m swell and no problem for changing direction. The pumping is effective, even if i didn't have to do it too much in swell. Above all, the albatros carries and allows for long glide, on freefly. I use the 950 osprey for playing and surfing in bigger swell, and the 1250 for light wind (with tail wing 220) or surfing in similar condition than for the Albatros.
