The 180 tail works amazing on the Fanatic/Duotone Aero free front wings giving better speed glide and turning.

I've been using the 180 in a variety of conditions with My Neilpryde swift carbon 800 & 1000cm from wings , and after testing a couple of shims have pretty much settled with the -0.5 shim.

90% of my foiling is in waves from knee high to head and a half and for me this shim gives the best performance and with little loss of lift, this shim is slightly harder to pump when keeping up with small waves, but this would be expected as the stab is smaller than my stock 210cm. The Neil Pryde foil has a really good low end and the 180 does not impact this at all. I tried a -2 shim to start which is quite an aggressive angle and found that it holds the 180 back performance wise. I would say -1.5 to -1, would be max shim for anyone using NP swift foils and the Onyix 180. Riding overall with the 180 stab still allows a good early take off, has increased speed on tested flat water runs, has allowed for tighter and more aggressive turns in the waves, and feels more comfortable in whitewater, so has allowed me to push harder in these sections. Loving it.
